Turkish Cafe Istanbul, owned by Story 515 Sdn Bhd, is a renowned restaurant dedicated to delivering an authentic Turkish culinary experience.

Since its establishment in 2014 in TTDI, Turkish Cafe Istanbul has grown in popularity and moved to various locations, including KL Sentral, before finally settling in Glo Damansara, TTDI.

As the sole business under Story 515 Sdn Bhd, Turkish Cafe Istanbul has become synonymous with delightful, quality, and healthy food offerings at competitive prices.

Chef Deniz

Chef Deniz’s culinary journey began in his hometown of Igdir, Turkey, and took him to the bustling streets of Istanbul. At a young age, he discovered his passion for Ottoman cuisine and honed his skills at renowned establishments such as Zanzibar Café, Beltas, and Hacibaba.

In 2006, Chef Deniz’s ambition led him to introduce Turkish flavors to faraway lands. He made his way to Osaka, Japan, where he contributed to a relative’s restaurant and later opened his own critically acclaimed establishment, Istanbul Hanedan, in 2008.

Driven by a love for Malaysia’s multicultural culinary scene, Chef Deniz decided to bring his talents to Kuala Lumpur. In 2014, he established Turkish Cafe Istanbul in the vibrant Taman Tun Dr Ismail neighborhood, where he passionately serves exquisite Turkish cuisine to delighted patrons.

Chef Deniz’s culinary expertise, combined with his love for Turkish traditions, adds a unique touch to the dining experience at Turkish Cafe Istanbul. His journey from Turkey to Japan and finally to Malaysia has shaped his culinary prowess, ensuring that every dish reflects the authentic flavors of Turkey.

Turkish Cafe Istanbul has been able to bring back memories of my journey in Istanbul through their authentic Turkish cuisine! Turkish cuisine is known for its diverse flavors and ingredients, and it's wonderful that I was able to enjoy a variety of dishes, including the mezze plates and traditional Turkish breads.

I always frequented this eateries and it is never disappointing. Service 10/10 (Quick Service with professional attitude, despite full of customers). The waiters were all very attentive and having very good attitude

The dishes were excellent! Highly recommend ordering the Sauté beef with bread. Portions were big so they were shared with some friends. My other fave was the Kunefe dessert.
